Post-tensioning accessories

On every post-tensioning work, there are many different accessories needed for the whole process. At MTT we supply all this accessories, whatever it is the element to be produced: post tensioned beams, post tensioned slabs, ground anchoring…

Most common accessories are:

Trumpets

The trumpet, which transfers the tendon load into the concrete and connects the anchor plate to the seath.

Wedges

Wedges are placed on them, and lay on the trumpet. Depending on the number of strands there are different sizes.

Post-tensioning wedges

It’s a critical part, so it holds the strand stressing forcé by means of their conical shape and toothed profile.

Corrugated sheaths

The strands are manually placed inside them before stressing. They’re fixed onto the reinforcement bars, and get maximun adherence to concrete by means of the corrugated shape. Different diameters are available.

Winder

Used for easier handling and pulling out of the strands. Heavy construction and suitable to different strand reel dimensions.

Post-tensioning machinery

On machinery section, you an see all machines necessary for the whole process, as stressing jack, pushing machines, hidraulyc pump units, cement pump…
